Rosie Zollinger

Rosie Zollinger’s journey into cider began in Canada in 2015 with a humble homebrew made from store-bought juice. It was enough to pique her curiosity, and she has been fermenting and working in the industry ever since. In 2016 she traveled to New York state to attend the Cider & Perry Production course with Peter Mitchell at Cornell University, and shortly after completed the Level 1 Certified Cider Guide certification, newly created by the American Cider Association. On moving to Australia in 2017 Rosie ventured into the broader world of craft beverages, obtaining a WSET Level 2 Award in Wine while working at a winery and distillery. Fast forward to 2024 when on a trip back to North America she was able to sit the Level 2 Certified Pommelier Exam and her passion for cider was reignited.

Rosie aims to work alongside the Australian cider industry to help raise the bar for cider Down Under and elevate the way cider is perceived. She has a passion for traditional methods and promoting the use of heritage and cider specific cultivators.
