Jakob’s journey into the world of cidermaking began as a cellar hand in 2019, where he developed a profound appreciation for the artistry and tradition behind the process. Now, Jakob is a cidermaker at Bold Rock Hard Cider in Mills River, North Carolina where he works alongside some of the best cidermakers in the world.

Jakob became a Certified Pommelier to further his journey of cider enlightenment and expand his knowledge as a cidermaker. He seeks to inspire others to embrace the magic of cider and help foster the community of fellow enthusiasts united by their love for this time-honored beverage.
