Welcome Tasmine “Tas” Fraser, as the American Cider Association’s Newest Licensed Educator

The American Cider Association is thrilled to welcome Tasmine “Tas” Fraser as our newest Licensed Educator in Canada, expanding access to Certified Cider Professional™ education for cider enthusiasts and beverage professionals across the country.

Known to many through her popular Instagram platform, @girlwithaciderreview, Tas has been a passionate advocate for craft cider since launching her channel in 2018. Based in Ontario, she has built a reputation for making cider approachable, engaging, and inclusive through educational content, thoughtful reviews, guided tastings, and creative storytelling.

Tas earned her Certified Pommelier™ designation at CiderCon® 2026 in Providence, Rhode Island, achieving the current highest level of certification within the Certified Cider Professional™ program. Her dedication to cider education and community building has also been recognized through the American Cider Association’s “Cider Is For Everyone” scholarship, which she received in 2024.

Beyond her work as a content creator and educator, Tas brings valuable industry experience to her new role. She is a former board member of Cider Canada, has spent years immersed in the Canadian cider community, and has gained firsthand experience exploring the cider-making process. Her deep understanding of both the producer and consumer sides of the industry makes her uniquely positioned to help grow cider knowledge throughout Canada.

As a Licensed Educator, Tas will deliver engaging cider education workshops and help support the next generation of cider professionals, hospitality staff, retailers, producers, and enthusiasts seeking to deepen their understanding of cider.

We’re excited to welcome her to the Certified Cider Professional™ educator team.”

For Tas, becoming a Licensed Educator represents the next step in her mission to share cider with wider audiences.

“Cider has introduced me to an incredible community of makers, educators, and enthusiasts, and it continues to surprise me with its diversity and depth,” said Fraser. “I’m honored to join the American Cider Association as a Licensed Educator and excited to help more people discover, understand, and appreciate cider. Whether someone is brand new to cider or looking to deepen their expertise, I look forward to helping them explore everything this category has to offer.”
