Edward O’Neill

Edward (Ted) O’Neill became a hobbyist cidermaker in the last few years. He began homebrewing beer in 1993, which was his focus for many years. He initially became a BJCP Beer Judge in 1998 then in 2024 passed the BJCP Cider Exam. But he wanted to understand more about the regional histories, apple varieties and regional styles of ciders and cidermaking beyond what was locally available to him. He appreciates the resources and support that the ACA has provided. He has even planted a few cider trees in his yard.
